Gov’t urged to explain P2.5-B allotment for food production |

Organic farming advocates want government to draw up specific programs on the use of the P2.5-billion stimulus fund to beef up food production this year. Lawyer Efren Moncupa, lead convenor of Go Organic! Philippines, said the fund is broken up into P100 million for personal services, P1 billion for maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) and P1.4 billion for capital outlays. Read more here.
